Wading Pool at City Park will be open Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays starting Saturday, June 8, 2013 through Saturday August 3, 2013. (Holidays excluded) Pool hours are 11:00am to 1:00pm and 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Each 2 hour session is $1.00 per child. NO children over 7 years old will be permitted in the wading pool. NO diapers, INCLUDING SWIM DIAPERS will be allowed. Lifegaurd has the right to refuse entrance into the wading pool at their discretion. Maximum number of kids per session is 20. If you intend to have a large group attend please notify the Recreation Department so arrangements can be made. NO REFUNDS
4th of July 10K/2M Race The City of Exeter with the Exeter Kiwanis sponsors this event on the 4th of July. The race starts at 7am at the city park in front of Lincoln school. Cost: $25.00. Day of Race Registration $35.00. REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 6:30AM ON RACE DAY. The first 100 participants receive a free t-shirt.
Horseshoe Tournament The City of Exeter sponsors this event on 4th of July. Preregistration is a must. Only the first 32 entrants will be accepted. Cost is $20.00.
KJUG Concerts in the Park KJUG will once again bring the free summer concert Concerts in the Park event back to Exeter City Park. What a great night listening to big name country artist and enjoying the smell of "Small Town Charm" in Exeter. 2012 Concert dates are: June 28, July 24, July 30 and August 30. Concerts start at 7pm. KJUG FM 106.7
Summer Fun Camp The City of Exeter's Community Services Department sponsors this program. There is a one-week camp for kids 6-12. Camp times are Monday through Friday from 10:00am - 3:00pm. Camp is scheduled for July 22 - July 26, 2013. There will be crafts, games, swimming and field trips each week. Lunch IS NOT provided. Cost: $65.00 per week. Discount available for multiple children. (No prorates or refunds once camp begins.)
Youth Soccer This program is available for boys and girls ages 4-14. It is scheduled to begin in July and run until August. Boys and girls will play together unless there are enough sign ups to separate them. Games will be played on Saturdays and evenings at Dobson field. The $55.00 fee includes, jersey, shorts and socks. Deadline to register is Friday, May 31, 2013.
