Parks The City of Exeter's parks provide an inviting atmosphere and recreation opportunities for Exeter residents and visitors.  From play equipment to picnic areas and places to host parties, fields for baseball, soccer, and other sports, the parks provide fun for all!

The City of Exeter Recreation Department is committed to providing the highest quality programs for the youth and adults of Exeter.

Youth Sports Camps are for boys and girls going into the 3rd grade through the 8th grade.  Camps run Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 11:00am.  Cost:  $10.00 per camp.  (No prorates or refunds once you sign up.)

Wading Pool at City Park will be open Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays starting Wednesday, June 10, 2009 through Saturday August 1, 2009.  Pool hours are 11:00am to 1:00pm and 2:00pm to 4:00pm.  Each 2 hour session is $1.00 per child.  Maximum number of kids per session is 20.  If you intend to have a large group attend please notify the Recreation Department so arrangements can be made.

4th of July 10K/2M Race  The City of Exeter with the Exeter Kiwanis sponsors this event on the 4th of July.  The race starts at 7am at the city park in front of Lincoln school.  Cost:  $20.00.  Day of Race Registration $25.00.  The first 100 participants receive a free t-shirt.

Movies in the Park  The Exeter Cultural Arts is proud to present, Movies in the Park.  This event is at Exeter City Park on the corner of Chestnut and D Street.  The wading pool will be available from 7pm to dusk.  Showtime is dusk to movies end.

KJUG Concerts in the Park  KJUG will once again bring the free summer concert Concerts in the Park event back to Exeter City Park.  What a great night listening to big name country artist and enjoying the smell of "Small Town Charm" in Exeter.  KJUG FM 106.7

Summer Fun Camp  The City of Exeter's Recreation Department sponsors this program.  There are two, one-week camps for kids 6-12.  Camp times are Monday through Friday from 10:00am - 3:00pm.  There will be crafts, games, swimming and field trips each week.  Lunch IS NOT provided.  Cost: $65.00 per week.  Discount available for multiple children.  (No prorates or refunds once camp begins.)

Youth Soccer  This program is available for boys and girls ages 4-13.  It is scheduled to begin in July and run until August.  Boys and girls will play together unless there are enough sign ups to separate them.  Games will be played on Saturdays and evenings at Dobson field.  Cost:  $30.00
