On 01/21/12, a female victim reported being a victim of her vehicle being stolen in the 300 block of N Orange St. The victim reported that she had parked her vehicle in an alleyway of the 300 block of N. Orange and when she woke up the next morning her vehicle was missing. This same vehicle was located prior to the victim noticing her vehicle was missing, in which this vehicle was found wrecked and burned. The California Highway is handling the recovery portion of this incident. This case is currently under investigation.
On 1-21-12 at approximately 0900 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Mountain View in regards of a burglary. A bicycle was stolen during the burglary. Exeter Police Department is investigating the theft.
On 1-21-12 at approximately 1220 hours, Officer were dispatched to the Police Department in regards to a vehicle burglary. An unknown subject stole $2,880 worth of French Antiques from a vehicle. The case is being investigated by Exeter PD.
On 1-22-12 at approximately 0900 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Mountain View in regards to an attempted burglary. A unknown subject attempted to break into the homeowners’ garage but could not gain entry. The incident is being investigated by Exeter PD.
01-25-12 at 1:40 PM. A resident in the 100 block of Whittier court reported that unknown suspect(s) had opened a credit account in his name without his authorization. A fraud report was taken by Exeter P.D.
01-25-11 at 2:58 PM. A resident in the 1000 block of W Maple reported the theft of tools from a storage shed. The theft is being investigated by Exeter P.D.
On 1-26-12 at approximately 1030 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of south E in regards to a burglary. The case is being investigated by Exeter Police Department.
On 1-26-12 at approximately 1317 hours, Officers were dispatched to the Exeter High School in regards to a student possessing Marijuana. During the investigation, Officers discovered that a student was selling Marijuana on school grounds. Christian Chavez, of Exeter, was placed under arrested for the listed charge. Chavez is described as a Hispanic male with brown eyes and black hair, 5ft 8inch, 145lbs, with a DOB of 2-23-95. Chavez was cited out under the supervision of his parents. Charges are being filed against two other students for drug related charges.
On 1-26-12 at approximately 1858 hours, Officers performed a traffic stop in the 600 block of Visalia Road. During the traffic stop, Officers discovered that the driver, Shannon Irvin, and a passenger, Salvador Franco, were under the influence of a controlled substance. Shannon Irvinwas placed under arrest for driving while under the influence of a controlled substance. Irvin is described as a white male adult, blue eyes blond hair, 6ft 160lbs, with a DOB of 12-21-72. Salvador Franco was placed under arrest for being under the influence of a controlled substance. Franco is described as a Hispanic male adult, black hair brown eyes, 5ft 9inch 200lbs, with a DOB of 09-09-88. Both Irvin and Franco were booked into Tulare County Main Jail.
On 1/26/12 at 1945 hrs Officers conducted a bike stop on an individual who was later identified as Tasha Franco, 9-19-83, 5’5 130 Bro, blue. During the bike stop it was determined that she was under the influence of a controlled substance she was arrested and released on citation.
On 1-27-12 at approximately 1400 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of S H in regards to a burglary to a business. The case is being investigated by Exeter Police Department.
On 1-27-12 at approximately 1430 hours, Officers were dispatched to the Police Department in regards to a theft of medications. The case is being investigated by Exeter Police Department.
On 1-27-12 at approximately 1530 hours, Officers were flagged down by a citizen in the 100 block of east Clarence. The citizen informed officers that a subject broke into his residence. The case is being investigated by Exeter Police Department.
On 1/27/12 at 2100 hrs officer located Jerry Johnson in the 500 block of W. Pine. Johnson, 6’5 240 Bro, Bro WMA, was known to have a warrant for his arrest. Johnson was arrested for the warrant and booked into county jail.
On 01/29/12, a male victim reported a theft from his vehicle which was parked on the street in front of his residence in the 200 block of Waldo. The victim reported that his front and rear license plates were taken off of his vehicle by an unknown suspect(s). This case is currently under investigation.
On 1/29/12 at 0100 hrs Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. The driver Freddy Mendoza, HMA 5’5 150 Bro, Bro, 7-16-90, was determined to be driving under the influence of alcohol and arrested. He was booked into Tulare county Jail.
01-30-12 0916 AM. A resident in the 200 block of S “G” St. reported the theft of a BBQ propane tank. A theft report was taken by Exeter P.D.
01-30-12 at approximately 2:56 PM. Gary Jonathan Moore age 23 Of Exeter was contacted by Exeter P.D. after trying to avoid contact with officers on his bicycle. Moore was found to be in possession of a switch blade knife that was concealed on his person and had a warrant for his arrest on a prior drug charge. Moore was booked into the Tulare county jail and is described as a WMA 509/165 Bro/Grn D.O.B. 06-23-88
On 01/31/12 officers contacted the driver of a vehicle, in the 400 block of west Firebaugh. During the contact officers discovered that the driver, Joshua Allen Mikles, was unlicensed. Mikles was subsequently arrested, then cited and released with a promise to appear citation.
On 1-31-12 at approximately 2210 hours, Officers performed a traffic stop in the 400 block of South First. During the contact, officers discovered the driver of the vehicle did not have a driver’s license. Dashawn Collins BMA, blk and brn, 6-02 160lbs, with a DOB of 7-11-92. Collins was arrested for driving without a driver’s license and was released at the scene.
02-01-12 at 1430 hours, Salvador Franco Jr. of Exeter arrived at Exeter P.D. to claim property held from a previous arrest and was found to be under the influence of methamphetamine. Franco was arrested and booked into the Tulare county main jail and is described as a HMA 509/200 Blk/Bro D.O.B. 09-09-88
On 2-1-12 at approximately 2010 hours, Officers performed a traffic stop at the intersection of Second and Firebaugh. During the traffic stop, officers discovered the driver did not have a driver’s license. Officers also discovered a small bottle of Marijuana and discovered that the driver had two active warrants. Esteban Coria, of Visalia, was taken into custody. Coria is described as a HMA, 5-11 185lbs, blk and bro, DOB: 6-9-88. Coria was later booked into Tulare County Main Jail without incident.
On 02/01/12 officers responded to the 600 block of S. Kaweah regarding a report of identity theft. The victim reported that she had discovered that someone was using her personal information to write fraudulent checks. No suspects have been identified and the case is currently under investigation.
On 02/02/12 at 0938 hours, officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of E. Chestnut regarding a theft from a vehicle. A male victim reported that sometime during the night his 1987 Jeep, parked on the street, had been left unlocked and the CD player was removed from the dashboard. This case is still under investigation.
On 02-03-12 officers responded to the 1400 block of Joyce Place regarding a theft. The victim stated sometime during the night the three vehicles in the driveway were gone through. Stolen from one of the vehicles were a Garmin navigation, a digital camera, and an in dash stereo. All vehicles were unlocked and there was no damage.
On 2-3-12 at approximately 0850 hours, Officers responded to the 500 block of South Kaweah in regards to a grand theft from a vehicle. An unknown subject stole $3100 dollars of equipment from the home-owners truck. The case is being investigated by Exeter PD.
On 2-3-12 at approximately 1010 hours, Officers responded to the 700 block of Westwood in regards to a 911 hang up. During the contact, officers discovered that an assault had occurred within the residence. The case is being investigated by Exeter PD.
On 2-3-12 at approximately 1200 hours, Officers responded to the 600 block of Channing Way in regards to a suspicious subject. Officers contacted Arturo Garcia. Garcia was arrested for possession of a dirk/dagger. Garcia is described as a 5-08 155lbd Hispanic male adult, blk and brn, with a DOB of 12-20-49. Garcia was booked into Tulare County Jail.
On 2-3-12 at approximately 1632 hours, Officers responded to the Bargain Max discount Store. A juvenile was caught on video stealing $30 of merchandise. The theft is being investigated by Exeter PD.
On 2/3/12 at approximately 1615 hours officers were dispatched to the 300 block of W Willow regarding a residential burglary involving the theft of a firearm. The victim was notified Fresno Police Department had recovered the firearm and the victim was unaware of the theft. This investigation is ongoing in order to bring charges against the suspect.
On 2/3/12 at approximately 2015 hours officers contacted and arrested a female subject with an active arrest warrant for resisting arrest in the 400 block of W. Visalia Road. The female was booked into county jail.
On 02-03-12 officers responded to Exeter Union High School regarding a trash can fire. A juvenile was arrested for arson and booked into the juvenile detention facility without further incident.
On 02-04-12 officers responded to the 500 block of north F St. regarding a battery. The victim was transported to Kaweah Delta Hospital for a laceration on the back of his head. Tristan Jones (01/30/92, 20 years old, white, male, 5’ 11”, 210, BRO, BLU) was arrested on charges of battery, threats, and brandishing of a weapon. Jones was booked into the Tulare County Main Jail without incident.
On 02-04-12, Kevin Robertson (06/16/90, 21 years old, white, male, 5’ 11”, 135,BLN, BLU) was arrest on charges on an outstanding misdemeanor bench warrant
On 02-04-12 officers were contacted at the police department by a female juvenile victim who reported her step-father was verbally and physically abusing her. The case is under investigation by the Exeter Police Department and CPS.
On 2-4-12 at approximately 1208 hours, Officers came upon a fight between two Hispanic male subjects in the 200 block of South I st. Both subjects were apprehended and arrested. The first subject, Raymundo Hernandez Jr. was placed under arrest for fighting in public, resisting arrest, and for a parole violation warrant. Hernandez is described as a 5-07 150lbs Hispanic male adult with blk hair and brn eyes with a DOB of 6-19-86. The second subject, Santiago Ramos Naranjo was arrested for fighting in public. Naranjo is described as a 5-06 160lbs Hispanic male adult with blk hair brn eyes with a DOB of 7-4-89. Both subjects were booked into Tulare County Main Jail.
On 2-4-12 at approximately 1330 hours, Officers contacted a home-owner who lives in the 100 block of South H at the Police Department. The home-owner was wanting to report a burglary that occurred the night before. The case is being investigated by Exeter PD.
On 2/4/12 at approximately 0300 hours officers contacted a driver who was driving recklessly in the area of Chestnut and Filbert. The male driver was determined to be driving under the influence of alcohol and was subsequently arrested. The driver was cited and released to a responsible party.
On 2/4/12 at approximately officers were dispatched to a traffic collision with minor damage that occurred near Ash and “D” Street. Upon arrival one party advised he had to follow the other driver and tell him to stop. The male juvenile driver was contacted and cited and released for driving without a license. The adult allowing him to drive was also cited and released for allowing the minor to drive.
On 2/4/12 at approximately 2000 hours officers were in the area of Pine and “C” Street when they heard a loud crashing sound. After searching for a collision, a vehicle with minor damage was observed driving south on “C” Street. The scene of the collision, which caused damage to city property, was later located at Pine and “B” Street.
On 2/4/12 at approximately 2200 hours officers were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Pine Street regarding the theft of a bicycle. The victim advised they parked the bicycle outside the convenience store and when they exited the bicycle had been stolen. Officers are still attempting to locate the bicycle.
On 2-4-12 at approximately 1420 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of south H in regards to a commercial burglary. The case is being investigated by Exeter PD.
On 2-4-12 at approximately 1746 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of south Kaweah in regards to a physical altercation between two subjects. The suspect fled the scene prior to officers arriving. The assault is being investigated by Exeter PD.
On 2/5/12 at approximately 0300 hrs officers responded to the scene of a hit and run traffic accident in the 300 block of S. Orange. Report was taken investigation on going.
On 2/5/12 at approximately 1830 hrs officers responded to the 500 Block of Davis St for the report of a theft of a rear license plate. Report was taken.
On 2/5/12 at approximately 2300 Hrs officers were flagged down in the 300 block of W Visalia Rd for an apparent vandalism. The victim of the vandalism was located and a report was taken.
On 02-08-12 at approximately 1804 hours, Officers responded to the 100 block of S Orange in regards to a Dog bite call. Upon arrival officers discovered that a male subject had been hit in the head with a baseball bat which resulted in major injury to the Victim. The Victim reported that he had been attacked by two Hispanic males who had hit him with the bat twice in the head and once on the left shoulder. The Victim stated after the attack had stopped, the suspects commanded their pit bull to attack him. The Victim was transported to the hospital and the suspects are still at large. This crime is currently under investigation.
On 02-09-12 at approximately 0339 hours, Officers responded to the 300 block of S Kaweah in regards to a battery. Upon arrival, Officers were informed by the victim that he was attacked outside of his Motel room by two males, one white and one Hispanic. He stated the males were dragging him down the hallway and attempted to pull him into their room. The victim stated the two males stole his cell phone and hit him in the head approximately 30 times. He stated a female was present during the altercation as well and stated all three fled the scene driving a white colored Ford Ranger. At approximately 0650 hours, Officers responded back to the location where they arrested 19 year old Ashley Ranaie Herring, WFA, Height: 5-0, Weight: 120, Hair: Blond, Eyes: Green, for possession of stolen property. Herring was in possession of the cell phone which had been taken from the victim. The victim identified his cell phone and identified Herring as the female who was present with the other two suspects. Herring was transported to the Exeter Police Department for processing. She was later transported to the Bob Wiley Correctional Facility where she was booked.
On 2-9-12 at approximately 1505 hours, officers responded to Wilson Middle School in regards to a fight between students. The fight is being investigated by Exeter PD.
On 2-10-12 at approximately 1921 hours, officers responded to the 100 block of south H in regards to vandalism to a vehicle. The vandalism is being investigated by Exeter PD.
On 2/10/12 at approximately 0100 hrs officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of S. Kaweah for the report of a noise disturbance. Upon arrival Officers contacted Donald Romero 4-29-65, 5’5, 140, Bro, Bro. During a records check of Romero It was learned that Romero had an Outstanding warrant. Romero was cited and release for the warrant.
On 2/10/12 at approximately 0250 hrs officer were dispatched to the 400 block of S. E St for the report of a domestic disturbance. An investigation was conducted and Andres Benitez, 3-29-88, 5’11 208, Bro Bro, was arrested for domestic battery. He transported and booked into Tulare County Jail.
On 02-10-12 at approximately 1139 hours officers responded to Kaweah and Firebaugh regarding a traffic collision. Officers contacted the drivers and found one of the drivers to have a revoked driver’s licenses. Ronald Schick (12-09-49, male, blk, hzl, 5-7, 140) was charged with driving on a revoked driver’s license and was cited for failure to provide proof of insurance. He was cited and released at the scene without incident.
On 02-11-12 at approximately 1255 hours officers conducted a vehicle stop for tinted windows. Upon contact with the driver officers found the driver to have no license. Maria Rodriguez (04-10-89, female, bro, bro, 5-1, 95) was charged with driving without a license. She was cited and released at the scene without further incident.
On 02-11-12 at approximately 1543 hours officers responded to the 300 block of south Quince regarding fraud. Officers contacted the victim who stated he found the apartment listing on Craig’s list. The listing provided a false manager of the property. The victim was instructed to deposit money into a banking account of the false manager. The victim stated he was able to contact the out of city property management company and explained the fraud. The owner of the property is aware of the fraud and will be making a report in her city.
On 2/11/12 Lupe Donahue 12-1-67 HFA, Bro bro, was located in the 400 block of S. H St. Officers located two outstanding warrants for her arrest. She was transported and booked into County Jail for the two warrants.
On 2/12/12, a theft from an unlocked vehicle was reported in the 400 block of East Prospect. The male victim reported several car stereo components had been taken from the vehicle. The case is currently under investigation.
On2/12/11 at approximately 0030 hrs Officers were dispatched to the 1400 Block of W. Vine for the report of Criminal Threats. A report was taken and the investigation is ongoing.
