Youth Programs

Exeter Community Services Parks and Recreation will offer Youth Baseball and Softball for the following leagues. To register, download and complete this form and return it to the Exeter Community Services/Recreation Office at 137 N. F Street or mail to PO Box 237, Exeter, Ca 93221.

Tee Ball:

Tee Ball is open to boys and girls ages 3-4 by April 30, 2018. This program uses a soft-core ball for safety and begins to teach the fundamentals of baseball in a non-competitive environment. Games will be played on Tuesday evenings. This is strictly an introduction to baseball. Start date: April 3, 2018.

Midget Coach Pitch League Baseball/Softball:

Coach Pitch is open to boys and girls who are 5-6 years old by April 30, 2018. This league is a coach pitch league. Players will continue to be taught the fundamentals of the game in a non-competitive environment. Baseball will be played on Thursdays at 5:30pm – 7:30pm. Start date: April 5, 2018.
Softball will play on Wednesdays at 5:30-7:30pm. Start date: April 4, 2018.

*** NEW Intermediate League Baseball/Softball:

Intermediate League is open to boys and girls who are 7-8 years old by April 30, 2018. NINE-YEAR-OLDS NOT READY FOR THE NEXT LEVEL CAN PLAY IN THIS LEAGUE. This league is to prepare players for more competitive baseball/softball. Players will hit off a pitching machine. Players will continue to learn the fundamentals of the game. Baseball will play on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Softball on Mondays and Wednesdays. BASEBALL START DATE: TUESDAY, APRIL 3, 2018. SOFTBALL START DATE: WEDNESDAY, APRIL 4, 2018.

Minor and Major League Softball:

Minor and Major League Softball is open to girls ages 9-14 by April 30, 2018. The number of participants will determine age brackets for each league. Games will be played on Mondays and Thursdays at the Dobson Field Complex. Start date: THURSDAY, APRIL 5, 2018.
EVALUATIONS WILL BE AT THE DOBSON COMPLEX ON MONDAY, MARCH 5, 2018 & TUESDAY, MARCH 6, 2018.

9 year olds @ 6pm ON MONDAY, MARCH 5, 2018
10 year olds @ 7pm ON MONDAY, MARCH 5, 2018
11 year olds @ 6pm ON TUESDAY, MARCH 6, 2018
12-14 year olds @ 7pm ON TUESDAY, MARCH 6, 2018.


FEE FOR ALL LEAGUES IS: $40.00 BY FEBRUARY 23, 2018
$50.00 AFTER FEBRUARY 24, 2018

Administration

City Hall The City Administrative Offices consists of several departments.  They are General Administration, City Clerk, Finance, and Planning.

General Administration focuses on the general management of the city and direct support of the elected City Council, and it includes administration of contracted services such as legal counsel, planning, and engineering services.

The City Administrator is appointed by the City Council and serves as the chief executive officer of the organization.

The City Clerk’s Office is responsible for the records management system of the city as well as providing election services and has custody of the City Seal.

The offices of the City Administrator, City Clerk, and City Council can be found at 100 North C Street, at the northwest corner of C Street and Pine Street, alongside the Police Department.

The Finance Department is responsible for all financial management services and activities provided by the city.  This includes payroll, accounts payable, business license, fixed assets, and general accounting and auditing of the city.

The Planning Department is responsible for processing zoning requests, conditional use permits, site plan reviews, subdivision work, tenative and final maps, annexation requests, and environmental impact reports.

Both Finance and Planning can be found at 137 North F Street, alongside the Community Services Department, which includes Recreation, Dial-A-Ride, Animal Control, and other services.

 The Exeter Police Department is dedicated to the fair and impartial enforcement of laws and ordinances to protect human life, property, and to maintain the public peace.  In accomplishing our mission of protection and service, the members of this agency will respect Constitutional rights, human dignity and community values.
