The City Council appoints members to boards, commissions and commiUees. The only current commission is the Planning Commission.

The City Council appoints members to boards, commissions and committees. The only current commission is the Planning Commission. The five-member Planning Commission is responsible for considering and making decisions regarding land use, planning, and zoning in accordance with the copy of city ordinances and state planning laws. A wide variety of issues are addressed including subdivisions, annexations, design review, zoning and environmental impact assessments. Commission Members serve a four-year term. The Planning Commission meets on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 5:30 p.m., in Exeter Council Chambers at 137 North F Street, Exeter, when there is business to conduct.

If you are interested in serving on the Exeter Planning Commission, apply today! Simply complete the application form found here (add the link) and email it to soneal@exetercityhall.com. Applications are kept on file for two (2) years from date of receipt or until appointment, whichever occurs first.
