Important Message About Your Water Service

Water - every drop counts

The City’s water system is struggling to keep up with peak demand on scheduled watering days. Our largest producing well is currently offline for repairs.

We are working closely with the contractor (Ingram Equip) to expedite the repairs in hopes of having the well back online next week. In the meantime, residents are experiencing lower than normal water pressure, especially during scheduled watering days.

To help alleviate this problem, we have authorized the school district to move all of its outdoor irrigation to off days (Monday, Thursday, or Friday), keeping in mind that the two-day restriction and timeframe still applies. City staff has done the same with all of the parks and City facility irrigation.

This exception is being made in an effort to balance the load and increase system pressure on regularly scheduled watering days.
