CITY OF EXETER State of California NOTICE TO FIRMS CITY OF EXETER BELMONT ROAD BIKE PATH, PHASE 1 PROJECT FEDERAL PROJECT NO. CML – 5195(017) The City of Exeter is requesting proposals from construction management firms experienced in federally-funded transportation projects to provide Construction Management Services. This Request for Proposals is being issued by the City of Exeter, City Administrator’s Office. Unless otherwise directed, all communications regarding this Request for Proposals should be directed to the City of Exeter at (559) 592-3318, or fax (559) 592-3516. However, to prevent misinterpretations, the City would prefer that all questions be sent by e-mail email@example.com. The City of Exeter plans to pipe an existing irrigation ditch and construct a bike path and appurtenances on the west side of Belmont Road between Chestnut Avenue and just south of Visalia Road. The City is looking for professional services to assist the City in delivering these improvements. Specifically, this proposal seeks construction management services to assist the City in the construction and closeout phases of the City of Exeter Belmont Road Bike Path, Phase 1 Project. The engineer’s estimate of construction costs is $1,510,994.32. The City has established a 3% DBE goal for this contract. The right is reserved by the City of Exeter to reject any or all proposals, to waive any irregularities or informalities not affected by the law, to evaluate the proposals submitted, and to award the contract according to the proposal which best serves the interests of the City. Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the City Administrator, City Hall, 100 N. C Street, Exeter, CA 93221 until 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 4, 2018.
